In this video, Karl Hinrichs talks with Bob Kirkwood about the difference between a Laundromat insurance agent vs. and insurance broker. Bob explains that an insurance agent is legally responsible to an insurance company and generally has more clout with the company, whereas a broker goes in between the insurance company and the insured. However, at the time of a Laundromat insurance claim the agent and the broker have the same duty to the insured; to help with the claim.
